Probably not but... There are some states where they are probably more legal than others.

Yes they are. Kenny from the Block regularly drove his raptor Trax on the street last winter

I think anything is legal in Florida.

Isn’t avoiding streets the point of tracks...?

Yes, but how are you going to go to the middle of nowhere from where you live? Unless the tracked car is being towed.

Don’t see why not. You can drive tanks on the street here.

Cut across the city blocks of course! Those things are meant to go over parked cars, buildings, small children, etc!

In all seriousness...I can’t imagine you’d want to drive very fast over asphalt on tracks.

Also, I’m wondering which type of stare you would get from the local DMV employee upon inquiring legality.

Pretty sure you can’t, at least not last time I checked. They destroy roads.

I finally got inside that thing a couple months back. Wasn’t as crazy on the inside as I expected

You can but you have to add rubber pads to the tracks so they dont cause damage. Wouldnt be an issue with the scooby above since the tracks look to be rubber.

Tanks can be equipped with rubber tipped treads. As long as the road can hold the weight, they can be driven on it.

as a rule of thumb, just because Ken Block does something does not make it legal. however I think it is legal in utah on surface roads but not highway.

I think most of those tracks have top speed warnings from the manufacturer of under 50mph
